Hai readers. It's time for me to update my second semester adventure in TESL. So, the second semester did not start well thanks to the horrible management I had to deal with. I had to manually register almost all of the new subjects I took for the second semester. Finding subjects you want to learn are difficult, I swear. If the class capacity is full, you're out. If it clashes with your other subjects, you're out. A lot of bickering (though I was not a part of it) between my classmates whom all had different schedules. It's extremely hard to find a time where everyone is available.
I enjoyed few subjects that I took like emotion management and foundation of criminology. This two courses gave me new general information that is important in writing. To be a writer, you had to have vast knowledge; that's what I believe in. Bioethics subject was interesting too though I didn't exactly enjoy all the class sessions.
So, one thing I definitely despise during the second semester was group work. Let me warn you something, if you are about to join the degree life, please prepare yourself to face lots of uncooperative humans especially in group work. It's hell. They were cocktail riding and I was so annoyed at their unprofessional behaviour and antics. Vow to yourselves to not be this kind of human being for you will only be a pain in others' life.
Move on to how I tiredly admit defeat and let my credit hours went down the drain because I was so lazy to fight and quarrel with other people who, they too were protecting their benefits and rights. During times like this, you'll get to see the hideous side of humans- their selfishness and eagerness to survive, how they are more than willing to step onto others, manipulate each other for the sake of their own happiness. It's interesting- the scene, I mean but it's not beautiful; not how humans are always pictured in story books or other sort of fantasies.
There's definitely more assignments than the first semester, more money spent on posters and whatnots. Oh and there's a field trip that at first I was very reluctant to join but then find a new hidden world and experience through it. I got to be on the driver's seat in this semester when I was betrayed by my friends (haha) the moment they sold my name out to be the leader of the group in one of the subjects I took. Dr. Chairozila was strict but she's a nice person who gave clear instructions on what she looked for in her assignments. It was bone chilling exchanging emails with her but nevertheless she made me more matured. It really tested out my will and sanity because believe me, the articles I've sent her was rejected so many times till I've lost count and the poster I made was rejected three times before I finally got her to approve my poster!
Well, all in all, it was another adventurous ride again this semester. I heard third semester is going to be hell so please wish me luck.
For this semester, Alhamdullilah, I managed to slip my name in the dean list again. The pointer was not what I expected, so fucking close to four flat like please, help me, gimme that impossible 4.00! But when I think about it, it's going to be a pain in the ass for next semester since I have to maintain my CGPA. Curse life. I'll try.

Hi Mia. I was amazed with your passion and hardwork to be part of UKM Teslians. I was aiming to be part of Teslians too but unfortunately i was in the same state as you. Failed my medsi test. I guess i wasnt destined to be an English teacher but it does not break my spirit at all as i decided to apply for UKM tesl like how you did. Therefore i have few questions to ask you and if you dont mind could you leave your Twitter/Facebook account so that i can catch you up later?
